Our underwear is made from bamboo modal — a soft, breathable fibre created from bamboo pulp. Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on the planet, often reaching maturity without the need for pesticides or replanting, and it typically requires far less irrigation than conventional cotton crops.

Turning bamboo into modal fibre involves breaking down the plant material and spinning it into a fine, silky thread. We use modal rather than standard viscose for its strength, durability, and soft hand feel — meaning your underwear keeps its shape and comfort wash after wash.

Low-impact dyes

Dyeing is one of the more resource-intensive stages of making clothing, so we've chosen to work with low-impact dyes across our range. These dyes bond with fabric at lower temperatures and use less water than conventional dyeing methods, which helps reduce chemical runoff. They're also free from many of the heavy metals found in standard dyes — delivering rich, lasting colour that's gentler on your skin and on the waterways downstream. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning they've been independently tested for harmful substances.
